The Medical Capital Innovation Competition takes place April 23-24 in Cleveland, Ohio at the Global Center for Health Innovation. Health-tech teams from across the globe will compete for cash prizes ($100,000 awarded to 6 teams), co-development opportunities with world-class hospital systems, and access to investors and business advisors.
The Competition is open to professional and collegiate teams. The 2017 event attracted 180 applicants from 10 countries and 27 states. The 2017 grand prize winner, MedRespond, an online healthcare communications startup, hails from Pittsburgh, PA.
Applications are accepted from January 8-March 16, 2018. Apply early for the best chance of acceptance into the Competition; teams are accepted on a rolling basis.
